Description

This is my original vampire character, Zoya Ivanova. She's not technically a vampire; she's half vampire. In case those of you wondering about the athlete, yes, she is named that. Zoya was born from an affair with a vampire and a human. She grew up in the western part of Russia then moved to the United States to purge the word of all undead creatures. She is chalk-skinned as other dhampirs are supposed to be. Her name ironically means "life" in Russian so her name might be a misnomer.

Nationality: Russian

Religion: Roman Catholicism

Age: 28 (Born August 8th 1988)

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: Benevolent but reclusive, rebellious and crude

Eyes: Red

Hair Color: Black, with a streak of midnight blue

Family: Yulia Ivanova (deceased from lymphoma), Sergei Antonov (victim of patricide), three uncles and a grandfather. Maternal half-sister Alberta Ivanova, Paternal half-brother Maxim Bogdanov.

History: In 1987, a wealthy and beautiful young woman named Yulia Ivanova had an affair with an unknown and shadowy stranger. The stranger was claimed to have been very handsome and dark haired. The affair was in Moscow, Soviet Union. As a result, Zoya was born. Yulia died of lymphoma in 2000, never getting to see Zoya mature and she never saw her daughter graduate high school or go to college. Zoya lived in an orphanage until she was old enough to fend for herself. During all that time, she felt alone and alienated but still remained benevolent, knowing the morals from her mother. She became an outcast because the stranger and she were both rumored to have vampiric tendencies. Zoya had blood cravings when she was older, implying that the allegations towards the stranger were true. The only clue to the identity of the father was a small piece of paper with a word in the Russian text “Nikto” meaning “nobody” in Russian. She kept saying “Nikto has made me a freak! I will get vengeance on Nikto!” The people around her only laughed at her. Her skin was very sensitive to sunlight and slightly paler than usual human skin color. Astonishingly, she never had a reflection in a mirror nor casted a shadow. The girls at her school never liked and labeled her a “freak.” One time, she attempted to join a women’s club in Budapest, only to be turned down due to the pallor of her skin. As a result of her isolation, Zoya hated all vampires, especially her biological father. In fact, Zoya wanted to remain an Ivanova instead of her "filthy vampire father's name." She made a vow that the undead would remain dead; she would also be the vampire hunter for all undead creatures. She was noted for her black hair on her head. People say it was so dark that it reflects her true personality. She also had dyed a streak of midnight blue in her hair. She was also very beautiful despite being pale and having no shadow or reflection. She was always seen wearing a red leather vest, jeans and boots with bladed stilettos. The boots were an invention she made herself. She traveled around the world, sometimes in incognito. Since she was Russian, she was the average height of a Russian person. Her mouth had razor-sharp fangs and she had sharper teeth than normal people. She had red pupils in her eyes but she also had a mole on her left cheek. She was only terrifying to other undead creatures. She always carries a Smith and Wesson revolver for protection. Zoya’s diet was more meat-based but prefers cooked meat rather than raw blood. Zoya is also multilingual, knowing the following languages: English, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Romanian and French. She was very friendly with children and even had the effort to write about her travels around the world such as Paris, London, Rome, New York, Berlin, Warsaw and even St. Petersburg. Despite her apparent kindness towards other living people, she preferred to slay all undead creatures, not just the evil ones. Since she travels around the world, no one knows where Zoya truly lives. Even so, her history is met with such confusion, that the rumors about her might be true. To this day, no one can find her unless there was something very sinister and supernatural in a certain place.

Strength: Zoya’s determination to bring balance to order and chaos.

Weakness: No known weaknesses.

Hobbies: Ballet, classical music, association football (soccer to us Americans), learning various martial arts.

Dislikes: Undead creatures, especially her father, Sergei Antonov, cautionary tones, people who irritate her, terrorists, religious fanatics like her archenemy Col. Ivan P. Kuznetsov.

Weapon: Smith and Wesson .500 pistol with bullets laced with holy water and carbon sword also laced with holy water.
